Dera Ismail Khan , Sep 12 (APP):The district administration launched a crackdown against illegal LPG refilling stations involved in filling public transport vehicles, sealing several illegal units and confiscating equipment used for the unlawful activity.
Acting on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Dera Ismail Khan, Assistant Commissioner Dr. Hamid conducted the operation and arrested several persons allegedly involved in illegal LPG refilling. The arrested individuals were handed over to police for further legal proceedings.
The Assistant Commissioner directed registration of FIRs against the violators and said that no leniency would be shown to those involved in illegal LPG refilling.
He said strict action would continue to protect public safety and prevent potential accidents.
