ISLAMABAD, Sep 12 (APP):Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi on Saturday held an important meeting with Director IT Atif Abbas and senior Safe City officers to review technology-based policing and related IT matters in the federal capital.
An official told APP that the meeting reviewed the functioning of Safe City and IT-related operations, with focus on making effective use of modern technology in policing.
The meeting also discussed measures to provide citizens with effective and timely police services through modern technology.
IGP Rizvi directed the concerned officers to ensure optimum use of technological resources to further improve policing and facilitate citizens.
