FAISALABAD, Sep 11 (APP):Rail Bazaar police have busted a three-member robbery gang by arresting its ringleader along with his accomplices and recovered important leads in a case involving the snatching of gold ring, mobile phone and personal documents from a citizen at gunpoint.
Police spokesman said that Rail Bazaar Police conducted an operation and arrested the gang’s ringleader Akram along with his accomplices Irfan and Hamid.
The accused had allegedly deprived citizen Abdul Mughiz Butt of a gold ring, mobile phone and other documents at gunpoint.
SHO Rail Bazaar police station Shahid Ali led the operation and succeeded in apprehending the gang members following investigative efforts.
Police have launched further investigation to recover the stolen property and ascertain the gang’s involvement in other robbery and street crime incidents.
Legal proceedings against the arrested accused have also been initiated while further action would be taken on the basis of investigation findings, spokesman added
