Virtual classes launched in Khyber district for first time
PESHAWAR, Sep 10 (APP):The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has introduced a virtual classroom system in Khyber district for the first time, opening new avenues of digital learning for students in the merged district.
The initiative, launched under the Good Governance Road-map of Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi, aims to connect students in Khyber with quality teaching through modern digital technology.
A Global Virtual Classroom has been established at Sahibzada Abdul Qayyum Khan School under the supervision of the district administration.
The facility is connected with the Global Virtual School Hub in Peshawar, enabling students to attend online classes delivered by experienced teachers.
The classrooms have been equipped with AI-based teaching tools and other digital resources to facilitate interactive and modern learning.
The initiative is expected to provide students in Khyber with educational opportunities comparable to those available in major urban centres and help overcome challenges affecting access to quality education.
The provincial government has reaffirmed its focus on expanding technology-based education in the merged districts, with the objective of equipping students with modern knowledge and skills and improving their prospects for the future.
