WCCIP Executive Committee elected unopposed for 2026-28
PESHAWAR, Sep 10 (APP):Executive committee for Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry Peshawar was elected unopposed for 2026-28.
According to a press release issued here on Thursday, fourteen candidates affiliated with the Businessman Forum have been elected unopposed to the executive committee of the SCCI.
This announcement was made by Election Commission during its meeting held here among members including Shahida Mazhar, Furrukh Naz and Tania Bashir.
The Businessman Forum candidates including Afshan Khan, Aneela Khalid, Saima, Sajida Zulfiqar, Shabnum Riaz, Urooba Khalid and Zarmeena Ali for the Corporate Class while Asiya Gul, Fouzia, Hooria Khan, Kulsoom Shahryar, Munaza Arshad, Tajallah Khalid and Urooj Sana were submitted for Associate Class, according to the election commission.
No one submitted nomination papers against the intending candidatures of the Businessman Forum for the WCCIP Elections 2026-28.
Therefore, the election commission declared all candidates of the Businessman Forum on seven seats of Corporate and Associate Class were elected unopposed.
It is worth mentioning here that nomination papers for the slot of President, Senior Vice President and Vice President of the Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry Elections will be submitted on Sept 11, while polling on these office bearer seats will be held on September 14.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be held on September 21.
The newly elected president, senior vice president and vice president will take charge of their respective offices on October 01.
