Police arrest three drug peddlers, seize over 4.4 kg hashish in Kohat
KOHAT, Sep 9 (APP):Kohat police crackdown against drug pushers, the police team arrested three drug peddlers and recovered 4.466 kilograms of hashish from their possession during raids in different areas, a police spokesman said on Wednesday.
Under the special directions of District Police Officer (DPO) Kohat, SSP Rai Mazhar Iqbal the team conducted targeted raids across various localities, resulting in the arrest of three suspected drug pushers identified as Shahryar, Akbar, and Luqman alias Laku.
1,046 grams of hashish were recovered from Shahryar, 1,075 grams from Akbar, and 2,345 grams from Luqman, bringing the total recovery to 4.466 kilograms.
Cases have been registered against all three accused at the Mills Police Station, and further investigation has been initiated.
Reiterating the police’s commitment, the DPO stated that action against drug dealers would be intensified further to eliminate the menace of drugs from society. He assured that no lawbreaker would be allowed to evade justice.
