Gilani meets former federal ministers, PPP representatives
ISLAMABAD, Sep 9 (APP): Acting President Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Wednesday held separate meetings with former federal ministers Senator Noor-ul-Haq Qadri and Senator Azam Khan Swati at Aiwan-e-Sadr.
During the meetings, matters relating to the overall law and order and political situation in the country were discussed.
A delegation of PPP representatives from South Punjab also called on the Acting President and apprised him of matters pertaining to their respective areas.
The delegation comprised Barrister Mudasir Shah, PPP ticket-holder for MPA from Multan, Imdad Ullah Abbasi, District President PPP Lodhran, and Zaman Langrial, PPP ticket-holder from Kabirwala, Khanewal.
Later, Ali Umar Alvi also called on the Acting President and discussed matters of mutual interest.
