Aslam Group sweeps RCCI elections, securing all 20 Executive Body seats

RAWALPINDI, Sep 09 (APP):Mian Parvez Aslam Group achieved a landslide victory in the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) Executive Body Elections 2026, winning all 10 seats in the Associate Class polling.

The group had earlier secured all 10 Corporate Class seats unopposed, securing all 20 seats on the Executive Committee.

According to initial results released by the three-member election commission comprising Malik Zahoor Ahmed, Tariq Mughal and Saqib Dawood, the winning group secured over 90 percent of the total votes polled in the Associate Class.

The elected Associate Class members including Imran Sadiq secured 1,600 votes, Naushirwan Khalil Khan 1,593, Rahimullah 1,587, Tariq Butt 1,586, Zaid Iqbal 1,586, Muhammad Shahid 1,585, Shahraiz Ashraf Malik 1,583, Muhammad Hamza Surosh 1,580, Ikram-ur-Rehman Abbasi 1,579 and Faizan Rafiq bagged 1,573 votes in the lection, polling of which held on Sep 9.

A total of 1960 votes were casted, of which 98 were rejected. Maximum votes for an opposing candidate were counted 262.

Following the polling, the election for the positions of President, Senior Vice President, and Vice President is scheduled for September 11.
