Administrative operations prioritize out-of-court dispute settlement in Murree

The district administration of Murree is accelerating out-of-court reconciliatory mechanisms to reduce burdens on the traditional judicial system and expedite public grievance redressal across the district, Deputy Commissioner Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi said on Tuesday.

MURREE, Sep 08 (APP):The district administration of Murree is accelerating out-of-court reconciliatory mechanisms to reduce burdens on the traditional judicial system and expedite public grievance redressal across the district, Deputy Commissioner Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi said on Tuesday.
Presiding over a District Resolution Committee (DRC) meeting at the deputy commissioner directed committee members and departmental heads to ensure transparency, neutrality and speed in resolving civil and public disputes through mutual consent.
The meeting, attended by Assistant Commissioner Murree Capt. (retd) Arshad Iqbal, the Additional Assistant Commissioner, PHA SDO, revenue officials and SHOs, reviewed pending reconciliation cases and formulated inter-departmental protocols for dispute settlement.
Zaheer Shirazi instructed all administrative and police officials to maintain active coordination to deliver accessible justice to local residents.
