ISLAMABAD, Sep 07 (APP):Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Senator Rubina Khalid and Chief Secretary Sindh Syed Asif Hyder Shah discussed operational issues being faced by BISP in the province and coordination with the provincial government for effective implementation of its initiatives.
During a meeting held in Karachi, matters relating to the smooth functioning and effective implementation of BISP operations in Sindh came under discussion.
Senator Rubina Khalid highlighted various challenges requiring coordination and facilitation from the Sindh government, said a news release.
Chief Secretary Sindh assured the BISP Chairperson of the provincial government’s full cooperation and support in resolving the operational issues faced by the program.
He expressed commitment to extending all possible assistance and facilitating BISP in matters requiring provincial government coordination to ensure effective and timely delivery of services to beneficiaries.
The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to close coordination and cooperation for the smooth and efficient implementation of BISP initiatives across Sindh.
Director General BISP Sindh Sana Ullah Rind and Consultant Naveed Khan were also present on the occasion.
