ISLAMABAD, Sep 7 (APP):The Rupee on Monday appreciated by 01 paisa against the US Dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs277.40, compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs277.41.

According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs 278 and Rs 278.50, respectively.

The price of the Euro against the rupee increased by Rs 0.34 and closed at Rs 322.72 against the previous day’s closing of Rs 322.38, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

The Japanese Yen went up by 02 paisa to close at Rs 1.79, whereas the exchange rate of the British Pound witnessed an increase of Rs0.14 and closed at Rs 375.67 compared to the previous day’s Rs 375.53.

The exchange rates of the Emirate Dirham and the Saudi Riyal remained unchanged to close at Rs 75.52 and at Rs 73.87, respectively.
