Rescue 1122 responds to 106 emergencies in a week

Rescue 1122 Malakand responded to 106 emergencies across the district during the week from August 31 to September 6, rescuing 102 people, according to the weekly performance report.

Malakand, Sep 07 (APP):Rescue 1122 Malakand responded to 106 emergencies across the district during the week from August 31 to September 6, rescuing 102 people, according to the weekly performance report.
The emergency response operations were carried out under the supervision of District Emergency Officer Nasir Khan.
The incidents included 81 medical emergencies, 18 traffic accidents, three drowning incidents and four other recovery operations. Three people were found dead at the scenes.
The Rescue 1122 control room received 2,371 calls during the week. Of these, 866 were information or dropped calls, while 1,399 were identified as fake, irrelevant or calls made by children.
Under its referral ambulance service, Rescue 1122 transported 44 patients to various hospitals. Of them, 16 were referred to hospitals within the district, while 28 were shifted to hospitals outside the district.
