RAWALPINDI, Sep 06 (APP):On the directions of City Police Officer (CPO) Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera, senior police officers on Sunday visited churches and other important locations in Rawalpindi to review security arrangements.
SP Potohar, SDPOs and other senior officers remained present in the field and supervised security measures at various locations.
Strict entry protocols are being enforced at churches, with worshippers required to undergo complete body searches before entering the premises.
Rawalpindi Police said all necessary measures were being taken to ensure foolproof security at all times.
“Protection of citizens’ lives and property remains the police’s top priority,” the police spokesperson said, adding that the force was working round the clock to prevent crime and ensure public safety.
