Rescue 1122 pays tribute to Defence Day martyrs, pledges continued public service
MALAKAND, Sep 06 (APP):District Emergency Officer Rescue 1122 Malakand Nasir Khan on Sunday paid tribute to the martyrs and veterans of the 1965 war, acknowledging their courage and sacrifices for the defence of Pakistan.
In his message issued on Defence Day, he said September 6 served as a reminder of the unparalleled bravery, determination and sacrifices demonstrated by the nation’s martyrs and heroes in defending the motherland.
He said Rescue 1122 Malakand was also carrying forward the same spirit of service, devotion to duty and sacrifice by remaining committed to protecting the lives and property of the people and responding to emergencies around the clock.
Nasir Khan said the personnel of Rescue 1122 renewed their pledge on the occasion to continue playing their role for the security of Pakistan, service to humanity and protection of the public.
He paid rich tribute to the martyrs and veterans and prayed for the progress, prosperity and security of the country.
