IGP Rizvi puts Kohsar division security, crime prevention under focus in key meeting
ISLAMABAD, Sep 04 (APP):Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi reviewed security, law and order and policing matters in Kohsar Division, with focus on strengthening field policing to prevent crime and protect citizens.
An official told APP on Friday that the IGP Rizvi the matters during a meeting with AIG Operations Hamza Humayun and SDPO Kohsar Nosherwan Ahsan Minhas, said a press release here.
During the meeting, the officers reviewed the overall security and law and order situation in Kohsar Division and discussed different policing matters.
They also discussed measures to make field policing more effective, particularly for crime prevention and protection of citizens’ lives and property.
The meeting focused on strengthening policing efforts at the field level to ensure better security and maintain law and order in the division.
