KARACHI, Sep 04 (APP):Shipping activity was reported at the port where five ships, Delphinus-C, MSC Glory-R, GSL Melina, Vosco Star Light and Gooby scheduled to load/offload Container, Cement and Coal, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, Multi-Purpose Terminal-2 and Bulk Cargo Terminal-4 on 3rd September.
Meanwhile four more ships, Roama-18, Yon Ding-19, Gem Darcy and Shahriar Jahan-I carrying Palm oil, Mogas and Coal also arrived at outer anchorage last 24 hours.
A total of thirteen ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them six ships, Delphinus-C, Elora, Stolt Vanguard, Jarama, MSC Glory-R and GSL Melina are expected to sail on today.
Cargo volume of 238,691 tones comprising 188,960 tones imports cargo and 49,731 export cargo carried in 6,347 Containers (3,776 TEUs Imports & 2,571 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 19 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them four ships, Peng Hu Wan, Peonia, Tong Young and Gem Darcy scheduled to load/offload Bitumen, Palm oil, Chemicals and Mogas are expected to take berths MW-1, LCT, EVTL and FOTCO respectively on today.
