PYP delegation visits DPO, reviews community policing initiatives

SIALKOT, Sep 04 (APP):A delegation of the Pakistan Youth Parliament (PYP) met with District Police Officer (DPO) Captain (Retd.) Dost Muhammad here on Friday.

The purpose of the meeting was to promote community policing, bridge the gap between the police and the public, and raise awareness among citizens, particularly young people, about the working procedures of the police and relevant institutions.

In this regard, the delegation of the Pakistan Youth Parliament also visited the Police Khidmat Markaz, Police Tahaffuz Markaz, and Police Meesaq Centre. They were given detailed briefings on various public facilitation services, the policing system, and other relevant services.

“Sialkot Police is working to promote community policing by taking young people along in this effort,” the DPO said.
