GCWUS VC meets HEC Chairman to discuss higher education, research standards
SIALKOT, Sep 04 (APP):Prof. Dr. Shazia Bashir, Vice Chancellor of the Government College Women University Sialkot (GCWUS), held a meeting with Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar, Chairman of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), at the HEC Secretariat in Islamabad on Friday.
During the meeting, both dignitaries engaged in a comprehensive discussion concerning matters related to the promotion of higher education, academic excellence, advanced research methodologies, institutional development, and the ongoing trajectory of growth at GCWUS.
Prof. Dr. Shazia Bashir deeply appreciated the continued patronage and steadfast support extended by the HEC towards strengthening higher education institutions across the country. She further reiterated her firm commitment to elevating the academic delivery and research standards of the university to match contemporary global benchmarks.
