The international academic forum brought together 50 researchers and scholars, including 26 international delegates, to facilitate technical exchanges, cross-cultural learning, and joint research discussions, said a press release issued here on Thursday.
Delivering a key lecture titled “Smart Agriculture in Arid Regions: Localized Innovation and Practical Applications of Precision Agriculture Technologies in Pakistan,” Associate Professor Dr. Tahir Iqbal detailed Pakistan’s progress in smart sensing, precision irrigation networks, and climate-resilient farming systems optimized for arid and semi-arid terrain.
Exhibiting strong technical capabilities, PMAS-AAUR students secured Second Prize in the Student Presentation Competition. University officials affirmed that the performance reflected growing Pak-China institutional integration in agricultural engineering, modern farming technology, and joint academic capacity building.
