ISLAMABAD, Sep 3 (APP): Acting President Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Thursday paid tribute to the security forces for foiling an infiltration attempt by the India-backed Fitna al-Khawarij along the Pak-Afghan border in North Waziristan.
In a statement issued by the Presidency, the acting president lauded the professionalism and bravery of the security forces for killing 15 terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Khawarij during the operation.
“India-backed terrorists will never be allowed to obstruct the country’s peace, stability and journey towards prosperity,” Yousuf Raza Gilani said.
He said the efforts of the security forces and law-enforcement agencies would continue until the complete elimination of terrorism.
