Prime Minister assured that under the vision of Pakistan Muslim League-N Quaid Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, the agenda for the development of AJK and the prosperity of its people would be taken forward.

ISLAMABAD, Sep 3 (APP): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday said that the welfare, development, and prosperity of the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan were among the government’s priorities and that it would continue to take all possible measures in this regard.

The prime minister, in a meeting with Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Engineer Amir Muqam, who called on him here, assured that under the vision of Pakistan Muslim League-N Quaid Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, the agenda for the development of Azad Kashmir and the prosperity of its people would be taken forward.

During the meeting, the federal minister gave a detailed briefing to the prime minister on recent elections in AJK, ongoing development projects in AJK and GB and public welfare initiatives.

Prime Minister Shehbaz praised Engineer Amir Muqam’s performance regarding the conduct and process of the elections in Azad Kashmir.
