The district administration of Hyderabad has once again launched a crackdown against illegal LPG decanting, sealing four shops in City taluka.

HYDERABAD, Sep 03 (APP):The district administration of Hyderabad has once again launched a crackdown against illegal LPG decanting, sealing four shops in City taluka.
On the directives of Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad Zain-ul-Abedin Memon, who is also Controller Civil Defence, a team of the Civil Defence, accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Hyderabad Syed Noor Hussain, conducted raids on the LPG shops on Wednesday night.
The team visited Noorani Basti, which is a thickly populated area, and sealed 4 LPG shops while seizing 11 LPG cylinders, 2 LPG decanting machines and 2 weighing scales.
The team was met with resistance but the presence of police enabled the officials to complete their actions.
The seized equipment was later handed over to the municipal authorities.
The AC City said the action was taken against the shops for violating prescribed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations governing LPG handling and decanting.
