ICT Police take ‘Nasha! Ab Nahi’ drive to classrooms, warn students against drugs
ISLAMABAD, Sep 02 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police on Wednesday took its “Nasha! Ab Nahi” anti-drug campaign to students at two educational institutions, holding awareness rallies and special sessions to highlight the harmful effects of drugs and encourage young people to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
An official told APP on Wednesday that the activities were organised separately by Sihala and Aabpara police teams as part of the ongoing campaign against drug abuse.
The Sihala Police Station team organised an awareness rally and programme at Islamabad Model College for Boys, where students were informed about the dangers of drug use and advised to stay away from narcotics.
Similarly, the Aabpara Police Station team held an awareness rally and special programme at Dar-e-Arqam School under the “Nasha! Ab Nahi” campaign.
During the programme, students were educated about the harmful effects of drugs on individuals as well as their damaging impact on society.
The students were encouraged to stay away from all forms of drug abuse and understand the importance of making healthy choices in their daily lives.
The activities also highlighted the importance of a healthy lifestyle and creating awareness among young people to protect them from the dangers of narcotics.
