BISE disassociates itself from positions in SSC Part-I results
MULTAN, Sep 02 (APP):The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) on Wednesday announced the result of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Part-I (9th) examinations wherein pass percentage stood at 52.11 pc.
As many as 140, 675 candidates were appeared in class 9th exams while 73, 301 got through, shows statistical data.
A total of seven Unfair Means Cases (UMCs) were reported during the exams and all were punished.
Meanwhile, BISE has categorically disassociated itself from any positions or position-holder lists being circulated in connection with the annual SSC Part-I (9th class) examination 2026.
A spokesperson for BISE said that it has neither prepared nor announced any positions in the SSC Part-I annual examination 2026. Consequently, no official list of position holders has been issued by the Board.
He informed that it had come to its notice that some educational institutions, academies and other individuals or groups were announcing positions and position holders through social media, print media and other platforms.
It clarified that all such announcements had been made independently by the respective institutions, academies or individuals and had no affiliation or association with BISE Multan. Such claims should not be construed as positions announced or approved by the Board.
The Board urged students, parents, educational institutions and the media to consider no claim regarding SSC Part-I positions authentic unless it was supported by an official notification issued by BISE Multan.
It further warned that any institution, academy or individual making a position claim in the name of the Board, or without its authorization or approval, would be solely responsible for such an announcement.
The spokesperson said it reserved the right to take legal action, where necessary, against misleading or unauthorized claims under the relevant laws and regulations.
BISE reiterated that no positions have been announced by the Board for the SSC Part-I annual examination 2026, he concluded.
