LAHORE, Sep 02 (APP):The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Lahore

busted a network allegedly involved in preparing fake visas and protector stickers,

arresting a suspect and recovering hundreds of passports and other documents on Wednesday.

According to the FIA Lahore Zone spokesperson, the operation was conducted on a tip-off in E Block, Sabzazar Scheme, Lahore. During the raid, 305 Pakistani passports were recovered along with fake visa stickers of various countries, the spokesperson said.

The FIA team also seized 100 identity cards belonging to citizens and recovered fake protector stickers allegedly being prepared for use in fraudulent transactions.

The arrested suspect was identified as Javed Iqbal, a resident of Sabzazar, Lahore.

The spokesperson said Javed Iqbal was also wanted in case No 551/2020 registered by the FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Lahore.

Further investigation was underway, the spokesperson said.
