KAGHAN, Sep 01 (APP): The Kaghan Development Authority (KDA) is considering providing free Wi-Fi services at major tourist destinations in Kaghan Valley to improve digital connectivity and tourist facilities.
The proposal was discussed during a meeting between KDA Director General, Muhammad Shiraz Khan, and the Director General of Science and Technology.
Under the proposal, free Wi-Fi would be provided at Shogran, Kaghan, Naran and Battakundi, enabling tourists to stay connected and share their travel experiences and the valley’s natural beauty online.
Muhammad Shiraz Khan said improved digital facilities would enhance the tourist experience and contribute to the promotion of tourism, environmental protection and sustainable tourism in the valley.
He said the Wi-Fi service would also allow tourists to make timely contact during emergencies, helping improve their safety and convenience.
