RAWALPINDI, Sep 01 (APP): Director, Writer and Chief Executive of Dolphin Communication Asma Butt on Tuesday said that September 6, Defence Day, was an important day in Pakistan’s history, reminding the nation of the sacrifices rendered by martyrs and veterans in defence of the motherland.
In her message issued in connection with Defence Day, she said the occasion provided an opportunity to renew the national resolve to remain united for Pakistan’s security, sovereignty and national unity.
She said the sacrifices of martyrs were a guiding light for the nation and inspired the younger generation to uphold the values of patriotism, unity and national responsibility.
Asma Butt said the defence of Pakistan was not limited to protecting its borders, adding that contributing to the country’s development, peace and stability was also a national responsibility.
She called upon the nation, particularly the youth, to play their role in strengthening the country and promoting unity and harmony.
