Foreign nationals’ security in focus

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Security Islamabad, Rana Umar Farooq on Tuesday chaired a meeting to review security arrangements for foreign nationals and diplomatic missions in the federal capital and directed officers to further strengthen the measures.

ISLAMABAD, Sep 01 (APP):Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Security Islamabad, Rana Umar Farooq on Tuesday chaired a meeting to review security arrangements for foreign nationals and diplomatic missions in the federal capital and directed officers to further strengthen the measures.
An official told APP that Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza and other police officers attended the meeting, said a press release here.
The meeting reviewed security matters related to diplomatic missions and foreign nationals and discussed the arrangements currently in place for their protection.
DIG  Umar  issued necessary directions to further improve the security arrangements and ensure effective implementation of measures for the safety of foreign nationals and diplomatic missions in the federal capital.
