Provincial Election Commissioner Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Saeed Gul on Monday urged interns completing their two-month internship with the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to serve as ambassadors of the institution and contribute positively to society by applying the skills and practical experience gained during the programme.

PESHAWAR, Aug 31 (APP): Provincial Election Commissioner Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Saeed Gul on Monday urged interns completing their two-month internship with the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to serve as ambassadors of the institution and contribute positively to society by applying the skills and practical experience gained during the programme.
He was speaking at the concluding ceremony of the two-month internship programme held at the office of the Provincial Election Commissioner in Peshawar.
Joint Provincial Election Commissioner (Elections), Muhammad Farid Afridi, Director (MIS) Abdul Qadir, Director (Elections) Muhammad Nadeem Khan, other officers and the interns attended the ceremony.
Saeed Gul said the internship programme was aimed at providing students with practical exposure to the working of the Election Commission and bridging the gap between academic learning and professional responsibilities.
He appreciated the interns for contributing fresh ideas, digital skills and enthusiasm during their association with the ECP.
He advised them to pursue their professional careers with honesty, hard work and punctuality and to become agents of positive change wherever they serve.
The interns shared their feedback on the programme and expressed gratitude to the Provincial Election Commissioner and ECP officials for providing them with a conducive and professional learning environment.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, certificates were awarded to all interns in recognition of their successful completion of the two-month internship programme.
