ISLAMABAD, Aug 31 (APP):A delegation of Friends of Police visited the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Complex in Islamabad, where participants were briefed on the department’s working mechanism and various aspects of its operations.
An official told APP on Monday that during the visit, CTD Deputy Director Training Major Ejaz Karim briefed the delegation on the functioning of the department and its working procedures, said a press release here.
He explained various aspects of the CTD’s working mechanism and familiarised the participants with the department’s operational and professional framework.
The visit provided the Friends of Police delegation an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the CTD’s functioning and the nature of its responsibilities.
The interaction was also aimed at enhancing awareness among participants about police working and strengthening engagement between the police and community.
