QUETTA, Aug 31 (APP):Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Yahya Afridi, has laid the foundation stone of the new Administration Block at the Supreme Court of Pakistan’s Quetta Branch Registry here Monday. He was accompanied by Justice Hashim Khan Kakar, Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan, Chief Justice of Balochistan High Court Justice Kamran Khan Malakhail, Supreme Court Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail and Deputy Registrar of the Quetta Registry Mir Hussain.
During the ceremony, Chief Justice Yahya Afridi and Balochistan Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan also planted a Quetta pine sapling as part of a tree plantation drive. The event was attended by judges of the Balochistan High Court and senior members of the legal fraternity, underscoring the significance of the occasion. The state-of-the-art Administration Block is being constructed at a cost of Rs. 226 million and is expected to be completed within one year under the supervision of the provincial Communication and Works Department.
