Hyderabad, Karachi industrialists, traders delegation calls on Sindh Governor

KARACHI, Aug 30 (APP): Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi met a delegation of industrialists and traders from Hyderabad and Karachi, led by Khalid Tawab, at Governor House here Sunday.
The delegation included KATI President Muhammad Ikram Rajput, Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vice President Iqbal Baig, Senior Vice President Naeemuddin, Glass Bangle Industries President Saleem Khan, and industrialist Pehlaaj Rai.
During the meeting, Hyderabad Chamber Senior Vice President Naeemuddin apprised the Governor of the issues and challenges being faced by chamber members.
Glass Bangle Industries President Saleem Khan also briefed the Governor on the problems confronting Hyderabad’s glass bangle industry.
The Governor Hashmi said that Hyderabad’s glass bangle industry has significant potential for exports and stressed the need for effective measures to take the city’s agricultural and industrial products to international markets.
“Local products can be prepared according to international export standards to earn valuable foreign exchange,” the Governor said.
He assured the business community that all possible cooperation would be extended to promote industry and trade and to resolve the issues faced by the business community.
