ISLAMABAD, Aug 29 (APP): Pakistan’s national hockey team “Pakistan Whites” delivered an impressive performance in the ongoing Nations Cup 2026 hockey tournament in Kazan, securing their first victory with a 4-1 win over Belarus U-21 in their second match.
According to details, Pakistan Whites played an aggressive game against Belarus U-21 at the Kazan Field Hockey Centre. Abuzar, Yasir Khan, Saad, and Taimoor scored one goal each to play a key role in the team’s win.
In the tournament’s opening match, Pakistan Whites faced the Belarus senior team in a thrilling contest that ended in a 4-4 draw. Abuzar, Usman Ashraf, Saad, and Yasir Khan were on target for Pakistan in that match as well.
As per the tournament schedule, the national hockey team, under the supervision of Head Coach Olympian Kamran Ashraf, will face Belarus on August 30, Samarkand City on August 31, and the Russia national team on September 1.
