PU ICET conducts Board of Studies meeting to review curriculum

Punjab University Institute of Chemical Engineering & Technology (ICET) has conducted a meeting of Board of Studies for curriculum revision of existing undergraduate and postgraduate programs and launching new programs and short certification courses. 

LAHORE, Aug 29 (APP): Punjab University Institute of Chemical Engineering & Technology (ICET) has conducted a meeting of Board of Studies for curriculum revision of existing undergraduate and postgraduate programs and launching new programs and short certification courses.
Director ICET Prof Dr Syed Nadir Hussain welcomed all the members of BOS including ICET Faculty members and representatives from other universities/industrial consultants.
He acknowledged the valuable contributions of ICET Alumni towards the development of laboratory facilities at ICET, particularly the support and construction of the “Paint manufacturing plant (medium scale) and research Lab”, “Solar system (30 KW)”, “Ultra-Filtration Plant (2000L/hr.) and water testing Lab”, and “Process Simulation Lab”.
He also appreciated Fauji Fertilizer Company (FFC) for its facilitation to upgrade ICET classrooms by providing 04 smart LEDS. Furthermore, the Director briefed about the agenda of the BOS meeting ie revision of BSc (Engg.) Chemical Engineering, B.Sc. (Engg.) Chemical Engineering with specialization in P&G. Curriculum for a new program of BSc (Engg) Food Engineering.
Likewise, curriculum for a new program of MS Process Safety and Management. Launch of Certificate Courses (Professional Development, Process Safety, Aspen HYSYS, and Water Based Decorative Paint Technology).
