Governor condemns terrorist attack on DSP Kulachi, pays tribute to martyred policeman
PESHAWAR, Aug 29 (APP): Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Saturday strongly condemned the attack by the terrorists on DSP Kulachi and other police officials near Hathala in Dera Ismail Khan district.
The Governor lauded the prompt and courageous response of police personnel who effectively retaliated against the terrorists’ firing, preventing further losses.
He directed the authorities concerned to ensure the provision of the best possible medical treatment to the injured police personnel and prayed for their early and complete recovery.
The Governor said that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were proud of their police force, particularly the brave officers and personnel serving in Dera Ismail Khan, for their unwavering commitment and sacrifices in the fight against terrorism.
Paying tribute to police constable Saeed, son of Mausam Khan, a resident of Pai, Tank, who embraced martyrdom after succumbing to injuries sustained in the terrorist attack, Governor Kundi said the martyred policeman rendered the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty and his sacrifice would never go in vain.
He expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and colleagues of the martyr and prayed to Allah Almighty to grant them patience and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
