RAWALPINDI, Aug 28 (APP): District authorities on Friday accelerated execution timelines and enforced strict quality compliance across all ongoing public sector development schemes in Rawalpindi district, ordering field officers to maintain continuous site-level monitoring.
Presiding over a District Development Committee meeting, Deputy Commissioner Captain (Retd) Nadeem Nasir instructed departmental heads to remove operational hurdles, ensure full transparency and comply strictly to project completion deadlines. Departmental representatives submitted progress briefings covering targets, financial expenditures and structural milestones across municipal projects.
The deputy commissioner emphasized that the district administration would not compromise on construction standards and mandated regular field audits by designated officers to guarantee that benefits from public welfare schemes reach citizens without delay.
