The meeting also reviewed actionable proposals aimed at facilitating tax payments by the business community.

LAHORE, Aug 28 (APP): A delegation of the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) here Friday held a detailed discussion with Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) Chairman Moazzam Iqbal Sipra regarding the issues faced by the business community. The meeting also reviewed actionable proposals aimed at facilitating tax payments by the business community.
Chairman PRA Moazzam Iqbal Sipra said that close coordination between government institutions and chambers of commerce is essential to promote the trend of voluntary tax compliance. He emphasized the need to understand the challenges faced by businesses while ensuring that the community is adequately informed about tax laws and regulations.
The delegation members said that individuals involved in tax evasion, fraud and fraudulent practices are not sincere with the country.
Moazzam Iqbal Sipra made it clear that facilitating the business community is among the top priorities of the Government of Punjab. He said that transparency in the tax system and the use of modern technology are being promoted to improve tax administration.
