RAWALPINDI, Aug 28 (APP): Senior Superintendent of Police SSP Operations, Malik Tariq Mehboob, held an open court to address public complaints at the Police Lines Headquarters here on Friday and issued directives to the relevant officers for their prompt resolution.
SSP Operations also directed the concerned officers to ensure legal action on the marked applications within the stipulated time-frame.
He warned that negligence in resolving citizens’ complaints would not be tolerated. Malik Tariq Mehboob said effective service delivery for citizens at police stations would be ensured at all times.
He stressed that public grievances should be addressed promptly and in accordance with the law. He further said that, in line with the vision of the Punjab Chief Minister, protection of citizens’ lives and property and provision of public services remain the top priorities of the police. All necessary measures are being taken to achieve these objectives, he added.
