Police on Friday claimed to have arrested a two-member motorcycle theft gang and recovered four stolen motorcycles from their possession,according to a police release.

SIALKOT, Aug 28 (APP):Police on Friday claimed to have arrested a two-member motorcycle theft gang and recovered four stolen motorcycles from their possession,according to a police release.

Kotwali Police arrested two suspects allegedly involved in motorcycle theft incidents and recovered four stolen motorcycles from them, the release said.

The arrested suspects were identified as Muhammad Anas,r/o Kahlu Wali and Tahir,r/o Paka Garha.

According to preliminary investigation,the suspects used to steal motorcycles parked in densely populated areas and markets by breaking their locks.

The police team traced and arrested the suspects with the help of Safe City cameras and human intelligence, the release added.

Further investigation was underway while additional recoveries were expected.
