The prices of gold witnessed a decline in the local market on Thursday, with the price of 24-karat gold per tola falling by Rs3,500 to settle at Rs483,036, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

ISLAMABAD, Aug 27 (APP):The prices of gold witnessed a decline in the local market on Thursday, with the price of 24-karat gold per tola falling by Rs3,500 to settle at Rs483,036, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs3,001 to Rs414,125, whereas 10 grams of 22-karat gold fell by Rs2,751 to Rs379,628.
In the international market, the price of gold decreased by $35 to $4,605 per ounce, the association reported.
Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola increased by Rs50 to Rs7,329, while the price of 10 grams of silver up by Rs43 to Rs6,283.
The price of silver in the international market rose by $0.50 to $68.50 per ounce, the association added.
