Rescue 1122 deploys 17 ambulances,39 bike ambulances for Eid Milad-un-Nabi

FAISALABAD, Aug 26 (APP): Rescue 1122 remained on high alert across the district for Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), deploying a comprehensive emergency response plan to ensure timely medical and rescue assistance during religious gatherings and processions.
According to a Rescue 1122 spokesman here on Wednesday, under the directions of District Emergency Officer (DEO) Rescue 1122 Engineer, Ehtesham Wahla, special emergency duties were assigned to rescue personnel along procession routes at major gathering points and other sensitive locations across the district.
He said a comprehensive emergency plan had been prepared in view of Eid Milad-un-Nabi processions and gatherings being held at various locations.
Rescue teams and emergency vehicles were strategically deployed to ensure a rapid response in case of any medical emergency, accident, fire or other untoward incident, he added.
The spokesman said 17 ambulances and 39 motorcycle ambulances had been positioned at designated points along procession routes and other important locations while eight fire and rescue vehicles were placed on special duty to respond promptly to emergencies.
A total of 135 Rescue 1122 personnel and 42 trained rescue volunteers performed special duties and remained alert throughout the celebrations, he added.
Meanwhile, DEO Engineer Ehtesham Wahla said provision of timely and effective emergency services to citizens was Rescue 1122 Faisalabad’s foremost priority.
He said all rescue teams remained fully alert at their designated points and ensured an immediate response to emergency calls.
He added that the deployment plan had been designed to minimize response time and ensure uninterrupted emergency coverage during Milad celebrations.
Engineer Ehtesham Wahla also appealed to citizens to maintain discipline and cooperate with Rescue 1122 personnel and other relevant departments.
He urged citizens to keep routes clear for emergency vehicles and immediately contact Rescue 1122 in case of any emergency so that rescue teams could reach the affected location without delay.
