FAISALABAD/CHINIOT, Aug 26 (APP): Federal Minister for Investment Board Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh has called for collective efforts to address the challenges confronting the country, urging the nation to draw guidance from the teachings of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and remain united as one Muslim Ummah.
He expressed these views while receiving Eid Milad-un-Nabi processions in Chiniot and interacting with participants and citizens.
He said that the occasion was a reminder for Muslims to reaffirm their commitment to the teachings, principles and noble character of the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him), adding that collective national efforts were essential for the progress, stability and prosperity of the country.
He said that Muslims should pray for the strength and guidance to follow the teachings of the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) in their individual and collective lives.
He stressed that the message of Seerat-un-Nabi was not confined to religious observances but also provided comprehensive guidance on brotherhood, compassion, justice, tolerance, mutual respect and service to humanity.
He stressed the need for unity among the Muslim Ummah, saying that Muslims should remain together and work collectively for the betterment of their communities and countries.
He said that national unity and a spirit of mutual cooperation could help Pakistan overcome its challenges and move towards a more stable and prosperous future.
The federal minister also paid tribute to the sacrifices being rendered by the Pak armed forces for the protection of the country and maintenance of peace.
Referring to the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, he said that soldiers of the Pakistan Army were making sacrifices for the sake of the motherland so that the law and order situation could be improved and lasting peace and security ensured across the country.
He said that sacrifices of the security forces reflected their commitment to defending the country’s sovereignty and protecting the lives and property of its citizens.
He maintained that the nation stood by its armed forces and appreciated the sacrifices of officers and soldiers who continued to perform their duties in challenging circumstances.
During visit, Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh also received various Eid Milad-un-Nabi processions and interacted with participants, religious figures and citizens.
The atmosphere remained charged with religious devotion as people expressed their love and reverence for the Holy Prophet (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
The federal minister also visited his Dera in Chiniot, where arrangements had been made for the distribution of Langar (free food) among the participants and local residents.
He personally met people from different sections of society and listened to their concerns and problems.
He assured the citizens that their genuine issues would be taken up with the relevant departments and every possible effort would be made for their early resolution.
He said that public service was a collective responsibility and elected representatives should remain accessible to the people and responsive to their problems.
He also underscored the importance of maintaining harmony, brotherhood and mutual respect during religious occasions, saying that the spirit of Eid Milad-un-Nabi should inspire society to promote compassion, tolerance and service to others.
He said that Pakistan’s progress was closely linked with national cohesion and collective responsibility, adding that the people should rise above differences and work together in the larger interest of the country.
He said that the teachings of the Holy Prophet (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offered a timeless framework for building a society based on justice, peace, equality and compassion.
He urged citizens particularly the young generation to study and practically follow the Seerat of the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) so that these values could become a living part of individual and national life.
He said that celebration of Eid Milad-un-Nabi should serve as an opportunity for Muslims to renew their pledge to follow the path shown by the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) and contribute positively to the society.
He prayed for peace, stability and prosperity in Pakistan and the Muslim Ummah and expressed the hope that the country would continue its journey towards progress through unity, faith, discipline and collective national effort.
