ISLAMABAD, Aug 26 (APP): Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Senator Rubina Khalid, has extended heartfelt greetings to the entire Muslim Ummah on the auspicious occasion of 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal, saying the day provides an opportunity to renew the commitment to follow the teachings and exemplary life of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
She said the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the best example for all humanity, adding that BISP, while following the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), remains committed to serving vulnerable and deserving segments of society.
Senator Rubina Khalid said the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) teaches people to support deserving families and ensure social justice.
In light of the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), providing education and healthcare facilities to children in need is a collective responsibility, she added.
She emphasized the need to promote love, brotherhood and equality by following the exemplary life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), saying adherence to the Seerat of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is the key to building a peaceful and welfare-oriented society.
She prayed that Allah Almighty grants everyone the strength to follow the Seerat of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and serve suffering humanity.
