Syedaal Khan meets political, social, legal, sports personalities

Acting Chairman Senate Syedaal Khan held separate meetings with senior parliamentarian and former Federal Minister Mir Baz Muhammad Khetran, former MPA Shahana Kakar, renowned wrestler Syed Bilal Agha, lawyers, social organizations and other prominent personalities.

ISLAMABAD, Aug 26 (APP): Acting Chairman Senate Syedaal Khan held separate meetings with senior parliamentarian and former Federal Minister Mir Baz Muhammad Khetran, former MPA Shahana Kakar, renowned wrestler Syed Bilal Agha, lawyers, social organizations and other prominent personalities.
The meetings discussed Pakistan’s political and social situation, particularly in Balochistan, provincial development, women’s empowerment, sports promotion, public welfare and other matters of mutual interest.
During his meeting with Mir Baz Muhammad Khetran, discussions focused on political stability, the democratic process, parliamentary affairs and the role of democratic institutions in national development. Syedaal Khan emphasized that dialogue among political forces is essential for strengthening democracy and resolving public issues.
In his meeting with Shahana Kakar, matters related to Balochistan’s development, basic facilities in underdeveloped areas and women’s empowerment were discussed.
Syedaal Khan said that women’s meaningful participation is essential for sustainable development and stressed the need to expand opportunities for their education, skills development and employment, particularly in remote areas.
The meeting with wrestler Syed Bilal Agha focused on promoting sports, especially wrestling, providing facilities for youth, encouraging local talent and improving Pakistan’s representation internationally.
He said sports engage youth in positive activities, promote a healthy society and project a positive image of the country.
The Acting Chairman Senate also met lawyers, representatives of social organizations and other prominent personalities.
Discussions covered public issues, social welfare, rule of law, social harmony, youth opportunities and stronger engagement among different segments of society.
Syedaal Khan said Parliament would continue highlighting public issues and working towards their resolution. The meetings concluded with a shared commitment to promoting democratic values, rule of law, social development, women’s empowerment and positive opportunities for youth.
