KARACHI, Aug 26 (APP): Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nihal Hashmi on Wednesday visited Memon Masjid in Bolton Market and led a procession held to mark Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).
The Governor congratulated the Muslim Ummah on the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), saying the Prophet was sent as a mercy for all the worlds.
Addressing the gathering, he said the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) provided a complete example of love, peace, justice, brotherhood and guidance for all humanity.
He urged people to spread the message of love, brotherhood, tolerance and peace on the occasion.
Nehal Hashmi called on people to facilitate one another, respect others and promote tolerance and mutual understanding in society.
He said the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) emphasised love, humanity, respect and mutual brotherhood, adding that following the Prophet’s life could help promote peace, fraternity and harmony in society.
