Birth of Holy Prophet (PBUH) greatest blessing for humanity:CM

LAHORE, Aug 26 (APP):Punjab Chief Minister(CM),Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday paid rich tribute to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi, expressing gratitude to Allah Almighty for blessing the Muslim Ummah with the auspicious occasion marking the birth of the Pride of Creation and Guide of the Universe.
In her message,the CM extended Durood-o-Salam upon the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH),saying that the blessed moments of Eid Milad-un-Nabi were a source of great honour and happiness for every Muslim.
She said the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was Allah Almighty’s greatest blessing for humanity and had illuminated every corner of the universe with the light of guidance and faith.
CM Maryam Nawaz said the Holy Prophet (PBUH) came as a support for orphans and a mercy for both worlds. Through his teachings,the weak were given dignity and honour in society,while the oppressed,slaves and daughters were given the courage and right to live with respect and dignity.
She said the sacred advent of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) demolished the idols of superstition and ignorance and illuminated hearts with the light of Tawheed.
The chief minister said the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) provided guidance for humanity in every sphere of life. She added that following the Seerah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was the path to success in this world and the Hereafter.
CM Maryam Nawaz stressed that sincere adherence to the teachings and Seerah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was the true expression of love for him and called for making these teachings a guiding principle in individual and collective life.
