Fire erupts at LPG decanting shop, no casualties reported
RAWALPINDI, Aug 24 (APP):A fire broke out at a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) shop in Bahria Town Phase 8 on Monday, triggering a series of cylinder explosions during a decanting operation, Rescue 1122 officials reported.
Upon receiving the information, emergency response teams rushed to the site and successfully contained the blaze.
According to a Rescue 1122 spokesperson, no casualties or injuries were reported in the incident.
In a separate incident, two men fell into a deep well in the Mandra area of Rawalpindi. Rescue teams launched a swift operation, successfully pulling one of the men out alive. However, the second individual did not survive.
Rescue personnel utilized scuba-diving equipment to recover his body from the water. The deceased was subsequently shifted to the Rural Health Centre (RHC) in Mandra, officials added.
