ISLAMABAD, Aug 24 (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif Monday held meeting with Sheikh Nayef bin Eid Al Thani, Chairman Retaj Group and Tamim Holdings, and discussed matters of mutual interest.
Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik, Advisor to the Prime Minister Haroon Akhtar, Minister of State Bilal Azhar Kayani, Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi and relevant senior officials also attended the meeting.
Welcoming the Qatari delegation, the prime minister emphasized that Pakistan and Qatar share longstanding, robust, and brotherly ties.
He recalled his recent visit to Qatar to offer condolences on the passing of the Emir’s father, noting that Pakistan eagerly looks forward to the upcoming visit of Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
Expressing their gratitude for the hospitality extended by Pakistan, the Qatari delegation conveyed a deep interest in expanding their investments in Pakistan.
