Seerat-un-Nabi(SAW) offers solution to challenges facing young generation: Sardar Yousuf
RAWALPINDI, Aug 24 (APP):Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousuf has said the teachings of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) offer an effective solution to the intellectual, moral and social challenges confronting the younger generation in the present era.
Addressing a zonal Seerat-un-Nabi (SAW) conference organised by the Auqaf and Religious Affairs Department, Rawalpindi Zone, at a local hotel, he said the Seerat-e-Tayyaba teaches love, brotherhood, tolerance, justice, peace and good morals, and following these principles, society could lead towards peace, security and development.
The conference was held under the chairmanship of Director, Auqaf Punjab, Waqas Uddin, and attended by religious scholars, political and social figures, traders, representatives of Milad centres and members of the Peace Committee.
RPO Rawalpindi Babar Sarfraz Alpa, CPO Mushtaq Sukhera, MNA Malik Abrar, Mufti Intikhab Noori, Additional Commissioner Mansoor Ahmed Khan, Administrator Auqaf Jawad Aziz Jalali, Zonal Khatib Auqaf Allama Ayaz Rizvi and other prominent scholars and speakers also addressed the conference.
The conference focused on the protection, development and character-building of the younger generation in the light of the Seerat of the Holy Prophet (SAW).
Mufti Intikhab Noori said the younger generation was a valuable asset and the future of the country, while its proper training and character-building was a collective responsibility.
RPO Rawalpindi Babar Sarfraz Alpa urged parents, scholars, teachers, traders and social leaders to connect the youth with the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet (SAW).
Director, Auqaf, Waqas Uddin, said collective efforts should be made to encourage the younger generation to become practical examples of religious values, morality, patriotism and service to humanity.
The participants expressed their resolve to promote the message of Seerat-e-Tayyaba, strengthen peace and brotherhood and contribute to the positive and constructive character-building of the younger generation.
