ISLAMABAD, Aug 24 (APP):The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has said that India’s claims of normalcy and peace in occupied Jammu and Kashmir are far removed from the ground realities, where Kashmiris continue to face military repression, raids, cordon-and-search operations and arrests.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the APHC spokesman, Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, in a statement in Srinagar said the Modi regime was deliberately projecting a false image of normalcy in IIOJK to mislead the international community and conceal the grim situation prevailing in the occupied territory.
The Hurriyat said daily raids, CASOs, arrests, questioning and surveillance by Indian forces and investigative agencies had exposed New Delhi’s hollow normalcy narrative. It said the massive deployment of Indian troops had transformed the occupied territory into a highly militarized zone, where the Kashmiri people continue to live under constant fear and pressure.
